A congressional internship is intended to give students an opportunity to develop an understanding of the legislative process and to learn about the workings of government first hand. Interns play an important role in my Washington, D.C. and District offices. Interns are responsible for assisting my staff with legislative research and constituent services. In addition, interns perform various office duties including, but not limited to, answering phones, writing letters and giving tours of the Capitol.

Students who live in Colorado's Second Congressional District and those receiving college credit will be given priority consideration, but anyone who is interested in an internship is encouraged to apply. Internships are available year-round.
